Rezumat

Peste 130 de medicamente sunt documentate a fi responsabile de anemiile hemolitice. Grupele și medicamentele cele mai frecvent raportate drept cauză ale anemiilor hemolitice includ: preparatele antimicrobiene (antibiotice, chimioterapice sintetice, antimalarice, antituberculoase), antiinflamatoarele nesteroidiene și analgezice (diclofenac, paracetamol, ibuprofen), antineoplazicele (fludarabina, oxiplatina, carboplatina, clorambucil, ribavirina), cardiovasculare (metildopa, hidroclortiazida, amlodipina, enalaprilul, ramiprilul, perindoprilul etc.), gastro-intestinale (omeprazol etc.), preparate hormonale (hidrocortizon), antidiabetice orale (metformina), substanțe de contrast (iohexol, iomeprol, isopac). Mecanismele declanșatoare ale anemiilor hemolitice includ: formarea de complexe imune (complexe medicamente-anticorpi pe membrana eritrocitară) sau autoanticorpi (inducerea de anticorpi anti-eritrocite), absorbția medicamentului indusă de haptene (doze mari de penicilină)
