Publication procedure
The time from submission to publication is on average 16 weeks.
Before submission
Authors are asked to visit our website www.revistaspemm.md and strictly follow the instructions in the Privacy Statement (Annex 2) and the publication malpractice status.
Authors must obtain an ORCID iD at https://orcid.org/register, create a Google Scholar profile at https://scholar.google.com, and a ResearchGate profile at https://researchgate.net.
Authors are responsible for the content of the article, confirming the use of only original scientific data. In the case of borrowing materials from other researchers (or from a previous publication of the authors), proper reference or citation must be made.
Authors guarantee that the submitted article has not been previously published or published in another language and has not been simultaneously submitted to another journal.
Authors must write the article in accordance with the Guide for Authors. Otherwise, the editorial board reserves the right to reject the article from consideration for publication.
Articles must be submitted electronically by the corresponding author to the email: redactor.spemm@gmail.com, using the author declaration form and license agreement.
Submission
The editorial board evaluates manuscripts based on their intellectual content, without regard to race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy of the authors.
There is no submission fee, but the author is asked to familiarize themselves with the article processing charge policy to consider institutional or personal payments, or sponsors.
Submitted articles are first considered to decide whether a particular article falls within the journal’s thematic scope, then the articles are sent to reviewers for further approval, usually to leading experts in the field. The names of the authors and reviewers and their affiliations are not disclosed to each other.
For an article to be published, it must have a well-reasoned approval from the two reviewers, which is then considered and further approved by the editorial committee. If one of the two reviews is “negative,” the editorial board approves rejection or the article is sent to another reviewer.
If the article requires some modifications, it is returned to the author(s) for revision, taking into account the reviewer’s recommendations. The revised version is then redirected again to the evaluator to consider the possibility of publication.
Publication Procedure
The accepted article is sent for scientific editing and proofreading. When the editorial proofreader discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in the work, it is their obligation to promptly notify the editorial board or editor and cooperate with the author to correct or withdraw the work.
Authors, reviewers, and the proofreader are asked to inform the editorial office if some grammatical errors, figures, or table displacements have slipped into the article text. The editorial board and editor are always willing to publish corrections, clarifications, and apologies when necessary.
The final version is adjusted with the authors for approval and correction of possible inaccuracies. However, substantial changes by the author(s) after editing and proofreading are not permitted.
If an article is rejected, the author(s) receive a well-reasoned explanation from the editorial board.
Rejected works are given the opportunity for an official appeal. Appeal requests must be made in writing to the editorial board. The author should provide detailed grounds for the appeal and point-by-point responses to the reviewers’ and editor’s comments.
If an appeal is rejected, subsequent appeals regarding the decision will not be considered and the work will not be accepted again. The editor-in-chief consults other members of the editorial board or reviewers in making this decision.
