Abstract

Hemorrhoidal disease is considered one of the most widespread pathologies in the world. In the Republic of Moldova, most patients with hemorrhoidal disease are treated by classic traumatic surgical methods, which are associated with pronounced postoperative pain syndrome, increased risk of complications. Minimally invasive methods of treatment of hemorrhoidal disease are of particular interest. In 1995, Morinaga published the first article about a new method of treating hemorrhoids: the HAL (hemorrhoidal artery ligation) method - the ligation of the branches of the superior hemorrhoidal artery, which later in 2005 the method was perfected by RAR (rectoanal repair). The purpose of the publication is to improve the results of the surgical treatment of hemorrhoids by applying the minimally invasive surgical method of transanal ligation of the hemorrhoidal arteries with the use of ultrasound dopplerometry with mucopexy (HAL-RAR). The results of the surgical treatment of 150 patients in the years 2014-2022 with the diagnosis: chronic mixed hemorrhoids were evaluated. III-IV. Judging from the literature and our own data, we can conclude that HAL-RAR is an effective minimally invasive method of pathogenetic treatment of hemorrhoids.
