Rezumat

Scopul articolul este reviul literaturii privind rezistența bacteriilor Gram-negative la preparate antimicrobiene. Au fost analizate 131 de surse, inclusiv documentele OMS și publicații științifice. Rezistența bacteriană rămâne o amenințare semnifi cativă și o cauză principală de deces la nivel mondial. Bacteriile rezistente proliferează prin selecție naturală atunci când cele sensibile la medicamente sunt îndepărtate de antibiotice. Aceste organisme se pot răspândi în toate unitățile de îngrijire a sănătății, precum și în comunitate, fapt ce necesită o atenție sporită la măsurile de control al infecțiilor și administrarea medicamentelor care conțin β-lactam în efortul de a controla selecția de agenți patogeni și mai nocivi. Au fost raportate mai multe strategii pentru combaterea și controlul bacteriilor Gram-negative rezistente, cum ar fi dezvoltarea agenților auxiliari antimicrobieni, modifi carea structurală a antibioticelor existente, cercetarea și studiul structurilor chimice cu noi mecanisme de acțiune. Pe lângă terapia nouă, un sistem efi cient de control al infecțiilor, alături de utilizarea prudentă a preparatelor antimicrobiene, este extrem de important.
