Abstract

The recommendations of the World Anti-Doping Agency, regarding the analysis of the implementation of the national anti-doping program in the Republic of Moldova in the context of compliance with the new provisions of the World Anti-Doping Code 2021 and the International Standards, the number of which has doubled since the creation of ANAD, imply the need to undertake rigorous measures in order to ensure compliance with the provisions of the UNESCO International Convention against Doping in Sports, the CoE Anti-Doping Convention and the World Anti-Doping Code. The activity of the National Anti-Doping Agency of the Republic of Moldova, on the one hand, is strictly monitored by the CoE, UNESCO, WADA, but on the other hand, it has a series of particularities specific to the given field, such as: the specific nature of the activities to prevent and combat doping and drug trafficking, investigation and control activities under conditions of confidentiality and increased psychosocial risks, the need to maintain a continuous dialogue with interested parties abroad, national and international sports federations and other anti-doping organizations.
