Abstract

Central serous chorioretinopathy is a chorioretinal disease characterized by the formation of a serous detachment of the neurosensory retina associated with decompensation of the retinal pigment epithelium. The aim of this study was to investigate the efficacy and safety of photodynamic therapy with Chlorin e6 in the treatment of patients with chronic central serous chorioretinopathy. Photodynamic therapy with Chlorin e6 is an effective and safe method for the treatment of patients with chronic central serous chorioretinopathy.
