Abstract

Nowadays, there is no single established method for the treatment of retinal pigment epithelium detachment in age-related macular degeneration. The purpose of this study is to compare the effectiveness of intravitreal and subtenon administration of Triamcinolone acetonide in serous detachment of the retinal pigment epithelium against the background of age-related macular degeneration. It was found that the use of intravitreal and subtenon administration of Тriamcinolone acetonide in patients with serous detachment of the retinal pigment epithelium in age-related macular degeneration has the same effectiveness for 12 months.
