Abstract

The aim of the current study is to establish some particularities in the activity of the ophthalmology clinic caused by the COVID-19 pandemic compared to the activity in the pre-pandemic period. An analysis of the didactic and curative activity of the ophthalmology and optometry clinic was followed up during the years 2019 - 2020, while also elucidating the specific features caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite all the impediments caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the activity of the ophthalmology clinic has not undergone substantial changes, except for the transfer of the teaching process in the online space, paying maximum attention to anti-epidemiological security and increasing the intensity of curative activity.
