Dezvoltarea biosimilarelor și hormonului de creștere biosimilar

În acest articol s-a efectuat prezentarea informativă despre dezvoltarea biosimilarelor și hormonului de creștere biosimilar în Europa și Republica Moldova, în urma selectării și analizei a 37 de surse bibliografi ce din baza de date PubMed și din revistele de specialitate. Hormonul de creștere uman a fost aprobat de Agenția Europeană pentru Medicamente (EMA) în 2006 ca primul medicament biosimilar din lume. Terapia cu hormonul de creștere recombinant este aprobată în prezent pentru defi citul de hormon de creștere, sindromul Turner, insuficiența renală cronică, la copii/adolescenți născuți mici pentru vârsta gestațională și sindromul PraderWilli. Totodată, terapia cu biosimilare este foarte costisitoare. În Republica Moldova, dar și în Europa de Est accesibilitatea medicamentelor biologice este una extrem de redusă din cauza lipsei unor producători locali sau regionali. Dezvoltarea în Republica Moldova a ramurii de producere a biosimilarelor, printre care și hormonul de creștere biosimilar, va fi o opțiune atractivă și farmacoeconomic avantajoasă pentru arsenalul terapeutic.
